"A fisherman's paradise..."

Welcome to Mark Twain Lake!

Mark Twain Lake is a young impoundment in Northeast Missouri which has already gained a reputation for providing the sportsman with a variety of fishing opportunities. Besides being considered the hottest largemouth bass fishery in the Midwest, it also sports healthy populations of catfish, bluegill, and especially crappie.
